Cross Corsica differently

From Cape Corse to Bonifacio, the GT20 takes you to the heart of the island, between sea and mountain, on a route as spectacular as unforgettable. From the hilltop villages of Balagne to the wild roads of the western coast classified as UNESCO, each stage unveils a new face of Corsica. You skirt beaches with turquoise waters, cross interior villages nestled in their verdant setting, before reaching the white cliffs of Bonifacio.

In freedom

Jour 2 : Ersa-Saint-Florent

The stage begins by crossing the Agriates desert, a burning heap of rocks and sparse maquis. We regain the Giussani, a beautiful green enclave integrated into the regional natural park.
Jour 4 : Belgodère-Algajola

70 km
1190 m
The high Balagne promontory villages offer spectacular panoramic views of the bays of Calvi and Île-Rousse. Discovery of picturesque villages such as Feliceto, Muro and Cateri.

The road takes us towards the rich western coastline of Corsica. At the Palmarella pass (408m) we await one of the most beautiful panoramas: the Girolata gulf and the Scandola natural reserve, classified as UNESCO World Heritage. The fauna (sea eagles...) and flora of this region are exceptional.

5/5

(Alex, Octobre 2025)
