The Tour of Upper Corsica Sporty

Five challenging days in the heart of northern Corsica. Starting from Bastia, you immediately dive into a route designed for endurance and steady riding. Head to the very tip of Cap Corse before reaching Saint-Florent. Cross the Balagne region to the Scandola Reserve. Reach the Calanques de Piana and Porto, with its square Genoese tower. The ascent of the Col de Vergio takes you to the center of the island and the former capital, Corte. Finally, the road leads to the Col de Teghime, offering 360° sea views, before returning to Bastia.

A sporty and demanding ride

Over five days, you traverse Upper Corsica covering long, strenuous stages (up to 125 km and over 2,000 m of elevation gain), designed for regular and experienced cyclists.

Two ways to experience this trip

-Comfort: from €800/person. Join one of our scheduled departures. In addition to full trip organization, your luggage is transferred daily as part of the group logistics. You ride light and fully enjoy the journey, while connecting with the WhatsApp group of fellow travelers who started on the same day.
-Freedom: from €575/person. Depart on the date of your choice throughout the season. Same itinerary, same roadbook, same accommodations, and same included dinners: you benefit from the full organization but carry your own luggage.

Your bike at the special participant rate

5-day package, any bike type: €160 instead of €239

-Polygon carbon road bike: for those who power their climbs with their own legs

Carbon frame—a bike built for Corsican mountain passes; lightweight on the Col de Vergio, stable on the descents toward Bonifacio.

We own our fleet: purchased and maintained in our Ajaccio workshops.

That is why participants enjoy a special rate:

And if you travel with your own bike, there is nothing extra to pay: the trip costs the same. Accommodation and dining

Cape Corse offers a magnificent coastal road that allows you to tour it. The road carved in a corniche runs at riviera level, skirting pretty little coastal hamlets. On the western slope, the sheer coast dominates spectacularly over the shore, overshadowed by Genoese towers and on the ridges, windmills.
Jour 2 : Saint-Florent-Algajola
Photo étape - Jour 2: 120 km
120 km

The stage begins by crossing the Agriates desert, a burning heap of rocks and sparse maquis. We regain the Giussani, a beautiful green enclave integrated into the regional natural park. Finally, the high Balagne promontory villages offer us breathtaking panoramic views over the bays of Calvi and Île-Rousse.
Jour 3 : Algajola-Porto
Photo étape - Jour 3: 100 km

The road takes us towards the rich western coastline of Corsica. At the Palmarella pass (408m) we await one of the most beautiful panoramas of our stay: the Girolata gulf and the Scandola natural reserve, classified as UNESCO World Heritage. The fauna (sea eagles...) and flora of this entire region are exceptional.
Jour 4 : Porto-Corte
Photo étape - Jour 4: 88 km

Passage today through the magnificent Spelunca gorges and the Vergio pass, Corsica's highest road pass ! Discovery of the magnificent Niolu region and its Scala di Santa Regina gorge ! Before reaching Corte, the historic capital of Corsica !
Jour 5 : Corte-Bastia

By a route of secondary roads, we return to the Nebbiu region and cross the hinterland dotted with hamlets and sheepfolds. The splendid Romanesque church of San Michele is the must-see stop.
